The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Leopoldo Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Iker Gilen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iker Gilen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Soares in the 5th minute of play. Juan Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Quiroga in the 6th minute of the match. When Luís Paulo de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Relyn Futebol Clube's protests and gave Luís Paulo de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Paulo de Barros hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Teodosio Columbo struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Juan Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Calamar Saavedra. 10 minutes into the match, Salvador Jerrold had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Vieira. Relyn Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Jerrold was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 14th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Juan Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Quiroga in the 15th minute of the match. Cecilio Nel hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cecilio Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Vieira having to interfere. Juan Vieira came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Teodosio Columbo. But to his dismay, Teodosio Columbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 41 minutes into the game, Guaberto Peruanton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Relyn Futebol Clube the free kick. A collision led to Atletico Calamar Saavedra getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Guaberto Peruanton hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Pascual Urdaspal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Calamar Saavedra and the Relyn Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Pascual Urdaspal got a free kick in the 45th minute. Davi Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davi Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Couto to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Quiroga was the one to do the kick off. Juan Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Peruanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Juan Vieira came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Guaberto Peruanton. But to his dismay, Guaberto Peruanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 75th minute, Cecilio Nel made a precise shot to the right of Juan Vieira. Relyn Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Cecilio Nel scored 6-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Nel came free, but Juan Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes of play, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Blas Quiroga made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atletico Calamar Saavedra had played much better football throughout.
