Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aquiles Bartolome got the match started through his kick off. Pascual Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Nuessli in the 5th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Patrido during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Patrido. Pascual Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Nuessli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Bartolome in the 14th minute of play. Pascual Demario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnny Raiola in the 18th minute. Pascual Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Schäppi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Schäppi came free, but Pascual Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Johnny Raiola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pascual Demario. Johnny Raiola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bairoletto FC's Pascual Demario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Bairoletto FC from getting a goal against them. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bairoletto FC! Bairoletto FC:s Pascual Demario showed great skill when he stopped Laurent Weyermann:s penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Johnny Raiola made the kick off in the second half. Pascual Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mick Racine in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Bairoletto FC's Aquiles Bartolome nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cliff Gottschalk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 58 minutes, Braulio Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bairoletto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Nuxila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cliff Gottschalk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Aquiles Bartolome notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk. Cliff Gottschalk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, Henri Schäppi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Demario. Bairoletto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henri Schäppi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 77th minute Johnny Raiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Clodoveo Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cliff Gottschalk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match Bairoletto FC got a corner. Tarada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aquiles Bartolome ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Bairoletto FC's Aquiles Bartolome to fire away a dangerous shot which Cliff Gottschalk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Bairoletto FC defense, Mick Racine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Demario. The Bairoletto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Demario should have stopped the shot. Bairoletto FC's Pascual Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Raiola in the 91st minute of play. Mick Racine might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascual Demario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mick Racine ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tarada had won after a very even match.
