The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Geovani Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos da Bahia Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Heijer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos da Bahia Fc's Oséias Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Heijer was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Fiori Rosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fiori Rosa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Rafael Heijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Meireles in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Fiori Rosa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafael Heijer, 2-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Oséias Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos da Bahia Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséias Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When NFC Eagles 22's Nico-Jan Ihselmann in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nico-Jan Ihselmann to make the kick off. Nico-Jan Ihselmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Vito Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos da Bahia Fc's Vito Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Santos da Bahia Fc from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Oséias Meireles made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Heijer. NFC Eagles 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Rodriguinho da Silveira struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Rafael Heijer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos da Bahia Fc. Santos da Bahia Fc's attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Fiori Rosa was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Maurits Apotheker kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Rafael Heijer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Meireles in the 70th minute of play. Ton de Ruijter hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Meireles in the 74th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Rafael Heijer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Ton de Ruijter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Robert-Jan Hermensen. Geovani Linares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafael Heijer. NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute, Andreas Deinse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Santos da Bahia Fc booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ton de Ruijter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Heijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Santos da Bahia Fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
