Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Károly Tolnay got the match started through his kick off. Jerrold Villeneuve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Miecznikowski having to interfere. Bogdan Miecznikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerrold Villeneuve in the 11th minute of play. Blake Vogt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Károly Tolnay, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. FA Sandtown's Bogdan Miecznikowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FA Sandtown from getting a goal against them. Maynard Pike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Topolski to maneuver through the defense. Jerrold Villeneuve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bogdan Miecznikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Miecznikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Valenzuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match Hugon Lepper shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blake Vogt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 40 minutes, Mateusz Madej mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FA Sandtown and the Vancouver Reds players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Madej. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Tolnay in the 45th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Blake Vogt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Topolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Blake Vogt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to FA Sandtown getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lucjan Watarz hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Vancouver Reds's Travis Oakley tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. FA Sandtown's Bogdan Miecznikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerrold Villeneuve in the 60th minute of play. Lucjan Watarz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Watarz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Travis Oakley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bogdan Miecznikowski. FA Sandtown's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Blake Vogt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Károly Tolnay in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Maynard Pike. After 74 minutes of play, Vancouver Reds's Frances Grossman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Miecznikowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucjan Topolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blake Vogt having to interfere. Frances Grossman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jerrold Villeneuve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vancouver Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerrold Villeneuve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Miecznikowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Tolnay in the 94th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Blake Vogt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Watarz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Vancouver Reds players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
