Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mateusz Kluska got the match started through his kick off. Maynard Pike kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Szczakowianka were awarded a corner. Maciej Haszczak went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Haszczak got free with Blake Vogt in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Zapolski in the 19th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Blake Vogt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Szczakowianka getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zdzislaw Cetnar hit a great ball. In the last second Blake Vogt throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mateusz Kluska in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Karol Zapolskis short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Blake Vogt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maciej Haszczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Blake Vogt made a huge save. Vancouver Reds's Marshall Valenzuela got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blake Vogt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Kluska in the 47th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frances Grossman was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateusz Kluska in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blake Vogt saved Vancouver Reds from getting behind. 55 minutes into the game, Karol Zapolski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szczakowianka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vancouver Reds the free kick. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Szczakowianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Zapolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frances Grossman came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomasz Rutkowski could save by the left post. In the 59th match minute, Szczakowianka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Zapolski to maneuver through the defense. Maynard Pike kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Maynard Pike got a free kick in the 65th minute. Blake Vogt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Zapolski in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Maciej Haszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blake Vogt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Szczakowianka getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Zdzislaw Cetnar hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goal looked a bit too open when Frances Grossman came free, but Tomasz Rutkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Frances Grossman made a precise shot to the right of Tomasz Rutkowski. Szczakowianka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Blake Vogt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateusz Kluska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blake Vogt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksymilian Bury, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Szczakowianka got a corner. Vancouver Reds's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maciej Haszczak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Szczakowianka were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Vancouver Reds's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maciej Haszczak took the corner. The corner led Szczakowianka's Maciej Haszczak to fire away a dangerous shot which Blake Vogt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maynard Pike to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vancouver Reds's zone, Maciej Haszczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blake Vogt came out of the goal and Maciej Haszczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Szczakowianka's Mateusz Kluska got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Szczakowianka were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
