The supporters of Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC booed when IFK Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Kvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Orixe struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jan-Ove Vesterberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC. Jan-Ove Vesterberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. IFK Stockholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Orixe in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Ove Vesterberg saved IFK Stockholm from getting behind. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Paulo Mancio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of IFK Stockholm's Jan-Ove Vesterberg. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Orixe came free, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egil Bagge to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes IFK Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Egil Bagge. IFK Stockholm's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Romeo Abeijon scored to the left of an out of position Jan-Ove Vesterberg, making the score, 3-4. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC played a much better game than IFK Stockholm and deserved their victory. The IFK Stockholm players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
