Jan-Ove Vesterberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Madej in the 5th minute of play. In the 28th minute Károly Tolnay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes IFK Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Magnusson. If Anton Kvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FA Sandtown's Michal Zdeb got control of the ball when Fritz Dahlkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FA Sandtown walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
