After 15 played minutes F.C internazionale got a freekick which was hit by Şenel Çetinel. Esen Ağın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Abeijon in the 19th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's corner Melquiades Gonzo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esen Ağın quite easily take care of the ball. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Clemente Astigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC from getting a goal against them. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after F.C internazionale's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Melquiades Gonzo took the corner. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Romeo Abeijon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esen Ağın in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atak Dirayet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clemente Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egemen Adıbelli in the 54th minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Marciano Shantala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC and the F.C internazionale players grew even worse after the yellow card. During the 75th minute of the match Jimeno Danel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jimeno Danel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee gave F.C internazionale a penalty, 77 minutes into the game.
