Fritz Dahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Melquiades Gonzo from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Jan-Ove Vesterberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Lönn in the 8th minute of play forced Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goalkeeper Clemente Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Aaron Honrio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, IFK Stockholm's Leo Lönn got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Orixe got free with Jan-Ove Vesterberg in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Gustavo Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes IFK Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Batu Artuç. Jan-Ove Vesterberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Gonzo in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Dahlkvist in the 30th minute of play forced Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goalkeeper Clemente Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Gustavo Orixe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Ove Vesterberg. IFK Stockholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Orixe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 44 played minutes IFK Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Magne Högström. 46 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Vesterberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Orixe. In the 48th minute, Gustavo Orixe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Abeijon made a kick off. Jan-Ove Vesterberg came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Gustavo Orixe. But to his dismay, Gustavo Orixe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Clemente Astigar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fritz Dahlkvist went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Abeijon came free, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Ove Vesterberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Tximitx, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Anton Kvarnström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clemente Astigar came out and tried to block the shot, but Anton Kvarnström slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Orixe in the 90th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Vesterberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes IFK Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Magnusson. In the 94th match minute, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Orixe to maneuver through the defense. The Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
