Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) After having played for 4 minutes, Nemesio Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bancruz F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Mannuel got free with Prospero Valente in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th match minute, Bancruz F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Gehl to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Quirze in the 11th minute of the match. If Raimundo Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lyons's Clodoveo Llanos got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Bancruz F.C's Armando Ellande got a free kick in the 26th minute. Marco Quirze scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Handi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Genaro Handi came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Marco Quirze. But to his dismay, Marco Quirze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The Lyons fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Lyons's Severino Iruinea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Horacio Neron hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Bancruz F.C's Humberto Rodas got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Bancruz F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Rodas to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Valente having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Nemesio Maiorga notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Lyons's Prospero Valente. Prospero Valente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Lyons getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Clodoveo Llanos hit a great ball. The supporters of Lyons booed when Bancruz F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Gehl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Nemesio Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Prospero Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Mannuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Nemesio Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Humberto Rodas came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Bancruz F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Rodas couldn't finish the play. Horacio Neron kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lyons eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
