Lite Finare Lite Bättre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Marco Quirze scored to the left of an out of position Bo Sillén, making the score, 2-0. Prospero Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Bäck in the 21st minute of the match. Lyons's Prospero Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Hökkvist in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Lite Finare Lite Bättre booed when Lyons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Bo Sillén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Lite Finare Lite Bättre from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, Marco Quirze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bo Sillén. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Quirze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 32 minutes into the game, Baldomero Sol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. If Severino Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Bo Sillén got control of the ball when Severino Iruinea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After 58 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Emil Bergren. 59 minutes into the game, Lyons's Marco Quirze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bo Sillén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Bo Sillén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Ramond in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Adan Ramond made a precise shot to the right of Bo Sillén. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Bo Sillén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Quirze's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jan-Ove Carlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Prospero Valente made a huge save. Stefan Bjursell hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bo Sillén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Quirze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adan Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Prospero Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Ove Carlsson in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the Lite Finare Lite Bättre defense, Marco Quirze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bo Sillén. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo Sillén should have stopped the shot. Adan Ramond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bo Sillén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
