The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Bart Lyon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Amalric in the 13th minute of play forced Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Conny Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conny Mattsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim Amalric went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, Tim Amalric had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conny Mattsson. Myggenäs IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim Amalric was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Bart Lyon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Conny Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conny Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Amalric, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bart Lyon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Conny Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32nd play minutes Fábio Cardoso shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Conny Mattsson and just under the crossbar into goal. If Tim Amalric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Lyon in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Cardoso came free, but Conny Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Tim Amalric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Amalric in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Myggenäs IFK's Olov Vallmark got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tim Amalric made a kick off. With a little luck, Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson got control of the ball when Fábio Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute of the match, Tim Amalric tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Conny Mattsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Myggenäs IFK defense, Franklin Cavalie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conny Mattsson. The Myggenäs IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conny Mattsson should have stopped the shot. With his leg Conny Mattsson managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Alexandrie CF's Tim Amalric fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Myggenäs IFK's Magne Wickander got a free kick in the 69th minute. Conny Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Amalric in the 72nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Conny Mattsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Olov Vallmark hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Cavalie in the 79th minute of play forced Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Conny Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conny Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Franklin Cavalie sent off a good shot on target. Conny Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin Cavalie in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Lyon in the 84th minute of play forced Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Conny Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tim Amalric kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conny Mattsson. That made the score 0-7 in the 90 minute of play.
