After 40 played minutes Tango en Miami FC got a freekick which was hit by Jessie McCollum. Zachery Dillon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When Xaver Teresa fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Aragua FC's protests and gave Xaver Teresa a yellow card for diving instead. Xaver Teresa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of Atletico Aragua FC booed when Tango en Miami FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinn Todd didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lance Willard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lance Willard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manel Victorero having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tango en Miami FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atletico Aragua FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
