Arnas Maestro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boni Arregui having to make a save. Edilberto Benítez lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Benja Belmonte struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Unai Simon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Aragua FC. Atletico Aragua FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Curcio Gonzalvez scored to the left of an out of position Boni Arregui, making the score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Arnas Maestro managed to get in a good position for a shot. LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnas Maestro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boni Arregui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Arnas Maestro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boni Arregui. Atletico Aragua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnas Maestro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curcio Gonzalvez got free with Boni Arregui in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Terres. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Arnas Maestro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Aragua FC's zone, Curcio Gonzalvez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boni Arregui came out of the goal and Curcio Gonzalvez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Gonzalvez in the 63rd minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Boni Arregui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nesto Campoamor hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Blas Terres struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Unai Simon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Aragua FC. Boni Arregui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnas Maestro, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Curcio Gonzalvez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Curcio Gonzalvez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Gentza Natos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Cordarin Alberete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Unai Simon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Madaleno Salvatierra got a free kick in the 86th minute. Arnas Maestro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the LVCVS AVGVSTI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
