Luisito Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolau Fagundes in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Oinaz in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesário Sanches saved AD Pontassolense from getting behind. Felipe Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 played minutes AD Pontassolense got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Amado. Cesário Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Guter in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to AD Pontassolense getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Plácido Sá hit a great ball. When Plácido Sá came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the AD Pontassolense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Plácido Sá couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Guib during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felipe Guib kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Ricardo Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Felipe Guib recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Virgilio Oinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Anjos in the 37th minute of play forced Potencial Desperdiciado F's goalkeeper Luisito Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nicolas Guter came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Potencial Desperdiciado F fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Guter couldn't finish the play. Virgilio Oinaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Cesário Sanches when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 45 minutes into the game, Gavino Nevada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potencial Desperdiciado F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AD Pontassolense the free kick. The supporters of AD Pontassolense booed when Potencial Desperdiciado F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Oinaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nicolas Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Herminio Bastian got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Potencial Desperdiciado F's Luisito Quinton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Potencial Desperdiciado F from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervásio Anjos got free with Luisito Quinton in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervásio Anjos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Luisito Quinton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 76 minutes of play Potencial Desperdiciado F's Gavino Nevada was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Gavino Nevada got a free kick in the 77th minute. AD Pontassolense's Afonso Castanheira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luisito Quinton but with some difficulty. A collision led to Potencial Desperdiciado F getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nicolas Guter hit a great ball. A hard shot by Afonso Castanheira from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Luisito Quinton's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Angelo Frans fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potencial Desperdiciado F's protests and gave Angelo Frans a yellow card for diving instead. Angelo Frans kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Potencial Desperdiciado F getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Felipe Guib hit a great ball. AD Pontassolense played a much better game than Potencial Desperdiciado F and deserved their victory. The Potencial Desperdiciado F players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
