A collision led to Maxaranguape - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cacá Hermes hit a great ball. Péter Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Hermes in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Marco Secco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Péter Čech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Péter Čech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agostinho Moreno's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Vasif Abdulazamov kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Péter Čech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Secco went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Maxaranguape - FSCMZ booed when Şamaxı Bankirlər was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasif Abdulazamov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacá Hermes struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Péter Čech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maxaranguape - FSCMZ.

After some careless play in the Maxaranguape - FSCMZ defense, Yaqub Aydinov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Vergílio. The Maxaranguape - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Vergílio should have stopped the shot. Péter Čech came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Cacá Hermes. But to his dismay, Cacá Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Vasif Abdulazamov hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Chico Romero tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 68 played minutes, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Flávio Costa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Péter Čech came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maxaranguape - FSCMZ reached it. 73 minutes into the match, Agostinho Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Péter Čech. Şamaxı Bankirlər's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agostinho Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Marco Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Şamaxı Bankirlər got a freekick which was hit by Aqil Bağiyev. After a rather tough play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Marco Secco got a free kick in the 90th minute.
