After a rather tough play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's José Lucas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 24th play minutes João Carlos Castro shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Júnior Vergílio and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Agostinho Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diamante Negro DK - VV's João Pedro Alvarenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agostinho Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Cacá Hermes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João Pedro Alvarenga, passed just outside the right post. In the 38th minute, Nuno Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Chico Romero in the 39th minute really tested João Pedro Alvarenga's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Marco Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg João Pedro Alvarenga managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Agostinho Moreno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The wind increased when Agostinho Moreno made the kick off in the second half. If Marco Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Leal to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match Chico Romero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Pedro Alvarenga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th match minute, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luiz de Sousa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes, Edinho Pitta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diamante Negro DK - VV and the Maxaranguape - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Diamante Negro DK - VV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maxaranguape - FSCMZ:s goal. Chico Romero shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 95th minute of the match, Oscar Ortiz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Júnior Vergílio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Agostinho Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
