After 18 minutes, Elof Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Koffe Boys and the Bruly players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Koffe Boys got a freekick which was hit by Elof Josefsson. Magnus Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Melkval in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck got free with Magnus Vidman in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magnus Vidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Melkval, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Bruly's Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 35 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Theo De Geest. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruly's Ernst Melkval slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Magnus Vidman. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. In the 42nd match minute, Koffe Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Vallengren to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Jan-Åke Allbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Oelaerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck to strike the kick off in the second half. Magnus Vidman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin-Alexander Beckers in the 56th minute of play forced Koffe Boys's goalkeeper Magnus Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4-0 became the score in the 58th minute when Ernst Melkval elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. John Beckström kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Boudewijn Lanfan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magnus Vidman. Koffe Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boudewijn Lanfan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 66th minute Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Elof Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Duchateau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Melkval in the 73rd minute of the match. Rudy Duchateau made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when John Beckström sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magnus Vidman was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Rudy Duchateau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Vallengren in the 81st minute of play. Ian Hellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rudy Duchateau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Hellkvist scored 6-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudy Duchateau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Koffe Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin-Alexander Beckers came free, but Magnus Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Bruly were the better team. Bruly's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
