In the 44th minute Georg Vallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetozar Gyurkovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rumen Tomchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Vidman having to interfere.

The wind increased when Milko Handzhiev made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milko Handzhiev in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magnus Vidman saved Koffe Boys from getting behind. After 54 played minutes АФК Фонтаните got a freekick which was hit by Sevdalin Balyuchev. The АФК Фонтаните fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svetozar Gyurkovski should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Veselin Stanoychev threw the ball into play from the sideline. Koffe Boys's Georg Vallengren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 72 minutes into the match, Koffe Boys's goalkeeper Magnus Vidman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milko Handzhiev. The supporters of Koffe Boys booed when АФК Фонтаните was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iliyan Karadzhov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Elof Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Koffe Boys's John Beckström made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svetozar Gyurkovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94thth minute of the game Milko Handzhiev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Koffe Boys's Magnus Vidman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Koffe Boys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
