Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joseph Neels got the match started through his kick off. If Boudewijn Lanfan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Neels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Acevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Nemesio Emeterio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Joseph Neels scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Acevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rudy Duchateau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Emeterio in the 38th minute of the match. Gregoire De Weijgaert charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregoire De Weijgaert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Gregoire De Weijgaert got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Luisito Raebert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Rey hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Raebert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nemesio Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Melkval in the 61st minute of play. Nemesio Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Duchateau having to interfere. Luisito Raebert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rudy Duchateau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Raebert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomiro Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Melkval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joseph Neels took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Acevedo. Baldomiro Acevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Nemesio Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudy Duchateau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Barrionuevo in the 81st minute of the match. Baldomiro Acevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Neels's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Neels in the 88th minute of play forced Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Baldomiro Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When David Rey fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacando del Medio's protests and gave David Rey a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bruly booed when Sacando del Medio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Acevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Neels's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Ernst Melkval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bruly's Boudewijn Lanfan in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sacando del Medio's goalie prevented a goal. Sacando del Medio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
