The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andy Gaston was a little too slow when Radowit Pilarczyk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Radowit Pilarczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Andy Gaston made a huge save. Radowit Pilarczyks short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Andy Gaston to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th match minute, SMOCZANKA MIELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Golota to maneuver through the defense. Kazimierz Nowakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Pena in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Pena came free, but Kazimierz Nowakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olaf Solak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andy Gaston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Pilarczyk in the 29th minute of play. Andy Gaston didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Radowit Pilarczyk shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Jagiellonia Denver defense, Radowit Pilarczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andy Gaston. The Jagiellonia Denver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andy Gaston should have stopped the shot. After 43 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Jan Kazczyk. 48 minutes into the match, Marek Ziomkowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andy Gaston, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Thacker was the one to do the kick off. The SMOCZANKA MIELEC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Radowit Pilarczyk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Pilarczyk in the 60th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Andy Gaston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jagiellonia Denver's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Andy Gaston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Pilarczyk in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Ziomkowski in the 88th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Andy Gaston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marek Ziomkowski in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Gaston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andy Gaston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radowit Pilarczyk went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
