The coaching staff of CaPLooNBa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Berkan Kadi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of SSV Ulm 1846 booed when CaPLooNBa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkan Kadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 95th minute, when SSV Ulm 1846's Ignaz Been after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Berat Kamaci in CaPLooNBa's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The CaPLooNBa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SSV Ulm 1846 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
