An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Guifre in the 13th minute of play forced Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Tobiasz Debkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Guifre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tobiasz Debkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobiasz Debkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Guifre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Lucas Erroman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 26 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Theobald. Waldemar Siwek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Oliverio having to interfere. In the 29th minute Lucas Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Debkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Confesor came free, but Tobiasz Debkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobiasz Debkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Erroman, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Romeo Confesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Erroman came free, but Tobiasz Debkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Romeo Confesor made a precise shot to the right of Tobiasz Debkowski. Pogoń Staszów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Lucas Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Gniech during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pogoń Staszów getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aleksander Gniech hit a great ball. Lucas Erroman, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half Club Atlético Magallanes were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Erroman was the one to do the kick off. Tobiasz Debkowski made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Prospero Guifre sent off a good shot on target. Club Atlético Magallanes were furious when Mauro Lobo was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Club Atlético Magallanes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pogoń Staszów:s goal. Leon Oliverio had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Aleksander Gniech's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Waldemar Siwek struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Leon Oliverio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogoń Staszów. Club Atlético Magallanes's Romeo Confesor got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Raul Xabel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Magallanes and the Pogoń Staszów players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atlético Magallanes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Romeo Confesor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Tobiasz Debkowski made a huge save.
