After a rather tough play, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Tony Tasso got a free kick in the 4th minute. Odilon Hodges might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldo dos Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Odilon Hodges ran back to his position shaking his head. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Osvaldo dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Thacker in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Maciel in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Gaston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Hoyt Dove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Gaston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Arí Guimarães got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Jagiellonia Denver getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jerry Lazure hit a great ball. Odilon Hodges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo dos Santos having to interfere. Adalberto Pirani hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Osvaldo dos Santos came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jagiellonia Denver's Gilbert Pena. But to his dismay, Gilbert Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Andy Gaston was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flavio Maciel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 54th minute, Marcinho Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Pena came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osvaldo dos Santos could save by the left post. In the 56th match minute, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Maciel to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Andy Gaston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jagiellonia Denver booed when THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Tasso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Thacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo dos Santos having to interfere. Osvaldo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hoyt Dove in the 75th minute of play. Edvaldo Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Olívio Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Pena struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Osvaldo dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagiellonia Denver. When THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Marcinho Donato in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Marcinho Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Gaston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jagiellonia Denver for a fine match.
