THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Osvaldo dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Intxixu in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ booed when Club Atlético Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto Pirani hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bernardo Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute Lorenzo Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Maciel in the 27th minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Leon Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Peres. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Maciel in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Leon Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcinho Donato in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Oliverio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Intxixu in the 44th minute of play forced THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goalkeeper Osvaldo dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Intxixu came free, but Osvaldo dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Flavio Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Edvaldo Hoffmann got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Club Atlético Magallanes were awarded a corner. Lorenzo Tonete went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lorenzo Tonete got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Osvaldo dos Santos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Marcinho Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Magallanes's zone, Flavio Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Oliverio came out of the goal and Flavio Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ got a freekick which was hit by Tony Tasso. After 81 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Intxixu. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position.
