The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Zelg FC got a freekick which was hit by Philippe Vehma. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gualtiero Nacht managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zelg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualtiero Nacht was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nerijus Sadeckas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zelg FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilberto Theissl in the 11th minute. When Dainius Dunauskas fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's protests and gave Dainius Dunauskas a yellow card for diving instead. Dainius Dunauskas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, one of FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Nerijus Sadeckas, was totally fooled by Zelg FC's Gilberto Theissl, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Tauras Gasiūnas got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Gualtiero Nacht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Philippe Vehma notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Nerijus Sadeckas. Nerijus Sadeckas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute, Philippe Vehma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugene Mullis to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualtiero Nacht was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Gualtiero Nacht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nerijus Sadeckas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Eugene Mullis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zelg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI the free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualtiero Nacht couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Gualtiero Nacht's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nerijus Sadeckas was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Gediminas Tavoras charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gediminas Tavoras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI got a freekick which was hit by Gediminas Tavoras. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI. When Zelg FC's Gualtiero Nacht in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nerijus Sadeckas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute Gualtiero Nacht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nerijus Sadeckas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gualtiero Nacht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Zelg FC were the better team. Zelg FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
