After 4 played minutes AKS Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Zachary Bentkowski. Elano de Sousa's late challenge caught a AKS Chorzów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elano de Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. 9 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Meireles came free, but Dariusz Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Ziombkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério de Queirós in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the AKS Chorzów defense, Mauro Meireles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski. The AKS Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dariusz Ziombkowski should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes of play, Fala Sério FC's Mauro Meireles made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dariusz Ziombkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Hieronim Brataniec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateusz Solecki kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Meireles in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Milosz Huk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 32 minutes, Maksymilian Piekarczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKS Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksymilian Piekarczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Meireles came free, but Dariusz Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Ziombkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Xavier in the 35th minute of the match. Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Xavier came free, but Dariusz Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dariusz Ziombkowski came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Fala Sério FC's Celsinho Xavier. But to his dismay, Celsinho Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Dariusz Ziombkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Meireles in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Meireles in the 47th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Meireles to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Fala Sério FC's Mauro Meireles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Ziombkowski. That made the score 0-5 after 52 minutes of play. Dariusz Ziombkowski was a little too slow when Mauro Meireles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-6. Maksymilian Piekarczyk scored 1-6 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elano de Sousa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Milosz Huk hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski got control of the ball when Celsinho Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Mauro Meireles took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Dariusz Ziombkowski to make any attempt to save it. Celsinho Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Dariusz Ziombkowski made a huge save. Dariusz Ziombkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Meireles in the 79th minute of play. Dariusz Ziombkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celsinho Xavier went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the game, Eugênio Couto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dariusz Ziombkowski. Eugênio Couto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Meireles in the 96th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fala Sério FC played a much better game than AKS Chorzów and deserved their victory. The AKS Chorzów players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
