Almir Loureiro started the match with the kick off. The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Mexilhão F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armin Trivelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisão Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armin Trivelli ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, Fulvio De Felice had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Seco. Mexilhão F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulvio De Felice was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Almir Loureiro in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniele Bencivenni saved PomeziaRamblers from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Almir Loureiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Daniele Bencivenni to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute, Alex Tarquini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexilhão F. C.'s Almir Loureiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Daniele Bencivenni but with some difficulty. After 21 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Melone. Eliézer Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. PomeziaRamblers's Armin Trivelli got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisão Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Cruciani in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute PomeziaRamblers were awarded a corner. Armin Trivelli went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on PomeziaRamblers's corner Armin Trivelli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luisão Seco quite easily take care of the ball. After 37 minutes, Edmundo Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexilhão F. C. and the PomeziaRamblers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Mexilhão F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Carter Cruciani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexilhão F. C.'s Luisão Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armin Trivelli was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Luisão Seco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 51st minute, Carter Cruciani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisão Seco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 59th minute, Carter Cruciani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisão Seco. The goal made the score 2-4. After some careless play in the PomeziaRamblers defense, João Francisco Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniele Bencivenni. The PomeziaRamblers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniele Bencivenni should have stopped the shot. In the 65th match minute, Mexilhão F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Novaes to maneuver through the defense. Armin Trivelli came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luisão Seco could save by the left post. 70 minutes into the game, Carter Cruciani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luisão Seco. Carter Cruciani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-5. In the 74th minute, Adriano Moschetta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Daniele Bencivenni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armin Trivelli came free, but Luisão Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Almir Loureiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniele Bencivenni was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. Luisão Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Cruciani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexilhão F. C.'s Luisão Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Mexilhão F. C. from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes, João Francisco Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexilhão F. C. and the PomeziaRamblers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 minutes Mexilhão F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armin Trivelli who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PomeziaRamblers's Armin Trivelli to fire away a dangerous shot which Luisão Seco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
