Bozhidar Zagorchev hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of KKS Lech Poznań booed when Carrapichel - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacy Ruszczyk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luís Moldavsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Souad Brahimi made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Ksawery Basinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KKS Lech Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Souad Brahimi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bozhidar Zagorchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Skikiewicz struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Tony Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KKS Lech Poznań. Luís Moldavsky succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 21st playminute. Tony Dias came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by KKS Lech Poznań's Dominik Skikiewicz. But to his dismay, Dominik Skikiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Tony Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Skikiewicz in the 31st minute of play. Dominik Skikiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes, Juliusz Matuch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KKS Lech Poznań and the Carrapichel - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dominik Skikiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Dias having to interfere. KKS Lech Poznań's Souad Brahimi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save KKS Lech Poznań from getting a goal against them.

KKS Lech Poznań's Wincent Andrysiak was substituted for Waldemar Malik. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Moldavsky stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Carrapichel - FDFDF. Fábio Umrihin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Souad Brahimi. 2-4. Souad Brahimi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Moldavsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KKS Lech Poznań getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Miromir Kaczanka hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Moldavsky in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Souad Brahimi saved KKS Lech Poznań from getting behind. Luís Moldavsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Moldavsky in the 90th minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Souad Brahimi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominik Skikiewicz got free with Tony Dias in the 102nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KKS Lech Poznań's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
