The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Dams got free with Sílvio Cordeiro in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luka Dams. In the 8th minute, KFC Paal-Tervant's Bartjan Parmentier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sílvio Cordeiro. Sílvio Cordeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Luka Dams struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Sílvio Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Paal-Tervant. 16 minutes into the game, Luckas De Wortelaers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sílvio Cordeiro. Luckas De Wortelaers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Sílvio Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luckas De Wortelaers in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luckas De Wortelaers in the 25th minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekzema F.V.'s Sílvio Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Verbeeck in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Maicon Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartjan Parmentier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Sílvio Cordeiro made a huge save. Fabinho Sarmento charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabinho Sarmento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Ekzema F.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Luka Dams recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sílvio Cordeiro. Luka Dams showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 47th minute, Luka Dams ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartjan Parmentier was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bartjan Parmentier came free, but Sílvio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Paal-Tervant's Bartjan Parmentier. But to his dismay, Bartjan Parmentier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some careless play in the Ekzema F.V. defense, Luka Dams kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Cordeiro. The Ekzema F.V. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. Luka Dams charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luka Dams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reinaud De Schutter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Sílvio Cordeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartjan Parmentier went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the game, Luka Dams cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Sílvio Cordeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sílvio Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartjan Parmentier, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when Ekzema F.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Luka Dams had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Cordeiro. Ekzema F.V.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luka Dams was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Dams in the 85th minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Luka Dams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Paal-Tervant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luka Dams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 played minutes KFC Paal-Tervant got a freekick which was hit by Roben Bauweleers. When the referee ended the match the KFC Paal-Tervant players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
