Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucio Fero started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Gesteira's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Medero came free, but Wellington Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tiago Gabriel Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Gesteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Gabriel Mesquita couldn't finish the play. The supporters of C.A.JORGOVAN booed when Gesteira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Wellington Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gesteira's Gil Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Martxot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gil Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Martxot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Wellington Barbosa made a huge save. The supporters of Gesteira booed when C.A.JORGOVAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Geofredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Motta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. C.A.JORGOVAN's Ezequiel Gasteiz pulled a muscle in his leg after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Marquinhos Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. C.A.JORGOVAN made a substitution. Santos Estevon replaced Ezequiel Gasteiz. In the 53rd minute, Marquinhos Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dedê Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Victor Zondervan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, César de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes C.A.JORGOVAN got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Beila. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Motta in the 76th minute of play forced C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper Victor Zondervan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gesteira defense, Christian Martxot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellington Barbosa. The Gesteira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington Barbosa should have stopped the shot. After 84 minutes, César de Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gesteira and the C.A.JORGOVAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Marquinhos Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Zondervan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Motta in the 89th minute of play. When Tadeo Paio fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.JORGOVAN's protests and gave Tadeo Paio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C.A.JORGOVAN's Tadeo Paio got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to C.A.JORGOVAN getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Christian Martxot hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Gesteira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A.JORGOVAN.
