Arne Almstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arne Almstedt came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Presidents FC's Mario Benitez. But to his dismay, Mario Benitez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Ferdinand Marcos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hudiksvalls United defense, Ferdinand Marcos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Almstedt. The Hudiksvalls United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Almstedt should have stopped the shot. Arne Almstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Marcos in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Marcos in the 20th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Arne Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Hudiksvalls United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Stenquist to maneuver through the defense. Arne Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Marcos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 31 minutes into the match, Rikard Stenquist notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Les Presidents FC's Bobby De Maerschalck. Bobby De Maerschalck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Marcos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Almstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Marcos in the 39th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Arne Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Christoffersson made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Les Presidents FC's Ferdinand Marcos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arne Almstedt. Arne Almstedt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Hudiksvalls United from getting a goal against them. Ferdinand Marcos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arne Almstedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Ferdinand Marcos could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Arne Almstedt however easily saved by the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Almqvist came free, but Bobby De Maerschalck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Koldo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Les Presidents FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ferdinand Marcos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Arne Almstedt made a huge save. With a little luck, Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt got control of the ball when Ferdinand Marcos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alonzo Koldo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Koldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hudiksvalls United booed when Les Presidents FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Marcos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Arne Almstedt made a huge save. Ferdinand Marcos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Almstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Ferdinand Marcoss short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Arne Almstedt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ferdinand Marcos came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arne Almstedt could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Koldo got free with Arne Almstedt in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Mario Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Presidents FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Benitez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Almstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 minutes of play, Les Presidents FC's Ferdinand Marcos made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Almstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Hudiksvalls United from getting a goal against them. The Les Presidents FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Les Presidents FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
