The audience was convinced that Virgil Gaines's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Zondervan was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 16 minutes of play, Moorefield AFC's Val Lowery made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Zondervan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christian Martxot hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Val Lowery cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Victor Zondervan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victor Zondervan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Hawley's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Moorefield AFC's Osvaldo Dunlap was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victor Zondervan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Moorefield AFC booed when C.A.JORGOVAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Gasteiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Val Lowery scored 0-5 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Zondervan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 minutes of play, Moorefield AFC's Val Lowery made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee showed Segundo Etxepare the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, C.A.JORGOVAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes, Moorefield AFC's Johnny Larsen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victor Zondervan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moorefield AFC reached it. Victor Zondervan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Val Lowery went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucio Fero was the one to do the kick off. Emanuel Hawley did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Victor Zondervan 52 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, C.A.JORGOVAN's Christian Martxot got a free kick in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Moorefield AFC's Val Lowery slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Zondervan. That made the score 0-9 after 58 minutes of play. Lee Delong's late challenge caught a C.A.JORGOVAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lee Delong helped the player get up and apologised. Moorefield AFC's Freddie Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Beila in the 74th minute of play. Victor Zondervan came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Moorefield AFC's Val Lowery. But to his dismay, Val Lowery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Victor Zondervan made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Val Lowery sent off a good shot on target. When Moorefield AFC's Val Lowery in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.JORGOVAN's goalie prevented a goal. Victor Zondervan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Val Lowery in the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Val Lowery in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Zondervan prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
