The goalkeeper, Kazimierz Gardocki, was totally fooled by FC Blaugrana Kraków's Szymon Kapelski, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kazimierz Gardocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Szel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Jacek Majkowski fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER Sosnowiec's protests and gave Jacek Majkowski a yellow card for diving instead. Jacek Majkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Rafal Cempa came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the INTER Sosnowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafal Cempa couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Markowski to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, INTER Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Szel came free, but Kazimierz Gardocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lech Luty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lech Luty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Wrzosek having to interfere. If Tomasz Pietrowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Gilbert Adamczak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Blaugrana Kraków's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER Sosnowiec the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Blaugrana Kraków's zone, Lech Luty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Wrzosek came out of the goal and Lech Luty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
