Marin Brătescu tried in the 84th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Dan Ghițescu a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Benitez in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Ghițescu saved The Valar from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Marcos got free with Dan Ghițescu in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastián Piñera to maneuver through the defense. The Valar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Les Presidents FC for a fine match.
