Josef Qvalfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rikard Stenquist during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Rikard Stenquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Björn Björklund was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hudiksvalls United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Gesteira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Veloso in the 51st minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Josef Qvalfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquinhos Schmidt took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josef Qvalfeldt. Josef Qvalfeldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Gesteira's Gil Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josef Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Motta in the 58th minute of play. When Tiago Gabriel Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Gesteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Gabriel Mesquita couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Gil Motta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josef Qvalfeldt. Hudiksvalls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Motta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls United's Jerry Norström got a free kick in the 71st minute. Josef Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Motta in the 73rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Veloso during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcus Lundhberg kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Josef Qvalfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
