The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akay Hedef didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Alexsandro Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaffar Serim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber Queirós took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaffar Serim. Gaffar Serim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goalkeeper Gaffar Serim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléber Queirós. Samuel Ribeiro's late challenge caught a VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Gaffar Serim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael da Rocha in the 17th minute. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Kuzey Darga. But to his dismay, Kuzey Darga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gaffar Serim was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Kléber Queirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kléber Queirós really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Gaffar Serim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael da Rocha in the 30th minute of play. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Squadra Demarchi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nurettin Onay took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nurettin Onay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oscar Saldanha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gaffar Serim made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Kléber Queirós sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Batu Nusret came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes Squadra Demarchi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nurettin Onay who took care of the corner kick. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Squadra Demarchi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nurettin Onay took the corner. After taking down the ball on VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's corner Nurettin Onay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oscar Saldanha quite easily take care of the ball. In the 47th minute, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kléber Queirós fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gaffar Serim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber Queirós in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Batu Nusret made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Castro during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oscar Saldanha didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Batu Nusret shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Gil Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gil Azevedo hit a great ball. Yağızhan Haneci's late challenge caught a Squadra Demarchi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yağızhan Haneci helped the player get up and apologised. Yağızhan Haneci kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Kléber Queirós scored 4-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaffar Serim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Rafael da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaffar Serim was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 70th minute Rafael da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaffar Serim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kléber Queirós in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaffar Serim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Batu Nusret managed to get in a good position for a shot. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's supporters rose to their feet, but Batu Nusret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Kléber Queirós made a precise shot to the right of Gaffar Serim. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Batu Nusret's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Oscar Saldanha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Batu Nusret hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Kléber Queirós made a precise shot to the right of Gaffar Serim. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. 91 minutes into the match, Alexsandro Britto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaffar Serim. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexsandro Britto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batu Nusret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Yalçın Yalınç slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Saldanha. That made the score 8-3 after 96 minutes of play.
