With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermínio Pena in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Saldanha saved Squadra Demarchi from getting behind. With a little luck, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Dênis Valle got control of the ball when Kléber Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Toninho da Cunha hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 40th minute of the game was made by Nildo Cruz with Charles Vergílio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The goalkeeper, Dênis Valle, was totally fooled by Squadra Demarchi's Claudinho Loyola, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 46th match minute, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Leal to maneuver through the defense. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Dênis Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexsandro Britto made a kick off. The referee ignored Squadra Demarchi's protests and gave Kléber Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Squadra Demarchi from getting a goal against them. In the 76thth minute of the game Hermínio Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nildo Cruz during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Novaes couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio Pena came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Squadra Demarchi's Samuel Ribeiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Charles Vergílio in the 95 minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, Squadra Demarchi could leave the field as winners, despite Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® having more of the ball for most of the match.
