Norberto Caneira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünal Songurhan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL defense, Artur Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaffar Serim. Gaffar Serim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Artur Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loures fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 35th match minute, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yalçın Yalınç to maneuver through the defense. Gaffar Serim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th match minute, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuzey Darga to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Kuzey Darga got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batu Nusret in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Vilalobos saved Loures from getting behind. Norberto Caneira hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Loures's zone, Kuzey Darga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Vilalobos came out of the goal and Kuzey Darga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batu Nusret in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şerif Cihansah to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Artur Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaffar Serim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batu Nusret, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Batu Nusret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batu Nusret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Batu Nusret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Şerif Cihansah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Isidro Diegues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loures's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL the free kick. A collision led to Loures getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Isidro Diegues hit a great ball. The Loures players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
