After a defensive mix-up in CF Scalonetos's zone, Rodrigo Paublo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed Long came out of the goal and Rodrigo Paublo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gonzalo Servando hit a great ball. Cleto Frechoso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albino Hitz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 15th minute, Cleto Frechoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmed Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC LeX Luthor's Albino Hitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Frechoso in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Albino Hitz got control of the ball when Cleto Frechoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes AC LeX Luthor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Jaizki who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on CF Scalonetos's corner Raul Jaizki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albino Hitz quite easily take care of the ball. Albino Hitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Artizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Amancio Elizardo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Paublo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmed Long having to make a save. Gerardo Herensuge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albino Hitz having to make a save. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when CF Scalonetos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Frechoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Hitz having to interfere. With a little luck, CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long got control of the ball when Rodrigo Paublo tried to sneak it across the goal line. CF Scalonetos were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
