AC LeX Luthor's Albino Hitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 28th minute of play. Claudinho Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Albino Hitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claudinho Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Hitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Britto in the 39th minute of play. Oscar Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Rodrigo Paublo sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Castro during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Castro. Jesus Tonio hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Paublo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 73 played minutes AC LeX Luthor got a freekick which was hit by Saul Txatxu. In the 79th minute of the match, Claudinho Loyola tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albino Hitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 83rd minute, Jesus Tonio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC LeX Luthor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Tonio during the 96th minute. Squadra Demarchi were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AC LeX Luthor to leave the ground with a draw.
