If Alec Harmon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Wynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batu Nusret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommie Kirkpatrick during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Creekers getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tommie Kirkpatrick hit a great ball. Yalçın Yalınç might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Wynn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yalçın Yalınç ran back to his position shaking his head. Akay Hedef hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Ronnie Lott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaffar Serim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Kuzey Darga came free, but Dante Wynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christopher Goss kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Yalçın Yalınç tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gaffar Serim was a little too slow when Ronnie Lott got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. When Christopher Goss fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Creekers's protests and gave Christopher Goss a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Creekers getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Christopher Goss hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Batu Nusret was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Creekers the free kick. Batu Nusret kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Gaffar Serim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alec Harmon in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Christopher Goss reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gaffar Serim. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 44th minute, Rashad Elliott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Ronnie Lott made the kick off in the second half. Tarık Isfahanlı's late challenge caught a Creekers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarık Isfahanlı helped the player get up and apologised. Tarık Isfahanlı hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Batu Nusret came free, but Dante Wynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Christopher Goss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaffar Serim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leroy Conn to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Creekers booed when VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağızhan Haneci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes of play VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Batu Nusret was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Batu Nusret got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gaffar Serim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alec Harmon's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Lott in the 81st minute of play forced VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goalkeeper Gaffar Serim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL got a freekick which was hit by Yalçın Yalınç. Yağızhan Haneci kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Creekers:s goal. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Creekers. Rashad Elliott stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gaffar Serim. 5-0. Gaffar Serim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Lott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaffar Serim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Lott in the 97th minute of play. Creekers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
