Lions United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tornadele Siret the free kick. Petre Vătăşel was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Gunter Van Bets capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunter Van Bets really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With 15 minutes on the clock, Robert Siadbei commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Tornadele Siret getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Robert Siadbei hit a great ball. Jorg Coenens, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paul-Louis Van Caubergen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Paul-Louis Van Caubergen. Călin Paulică hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Ferdinand Mihălțan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Tornadele Siret was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Mihălțan to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes Tornadele Siret got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Mihălțan. Petre Vătăşel made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Guy Cox sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolae Manafu to make the kick off. Nicolae Manafu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Izak Capellemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Lions United's Izak Capellemans got control of the ball when Călin Paulică tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Lions United getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gunter Van Bets hit a great ball. Izak Capellemans was a little too slow when Gabriel Beșliu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. Gabriel Beșliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Izak Capellemans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Nicolae Manafu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Izak Capellemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Lions United's Izak Capellemans got control of the ball when Nicolae Manafu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tornadele Siret were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lions United to leave the ground with a draw.
