In the 23rd minute, Igor Borisov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Vătăşel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Leonid Noskov kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Martin Ciorăscu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
