In the 36th minute Celso Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Otsoko in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Barrionuevo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Benito Mino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Chusca's Placido Hernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Iyan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Rafael Guifre made the kick off in the second half. Fidel Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Otsoko in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Otsoko came free, but Fidel Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Tierra del Fuego FC were the better team. Tierra del Fuego FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
