Celso Otsoko kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Cristobal Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Brodin in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Celso Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Dahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egil Lindman's late challenge caught a Tierra del Fuego FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egil Lindman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Newcastle United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Lindman to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Brodin in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aron Östman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Iyan was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Guido Erruki charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Erruki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tierra del Fuego FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Guido Erruki hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Aron Östman made the kick off in the second half. Newcastle United F.C.'s Aron Östman got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristobal Iyan came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United F.C.'s Gustaf Högström. But to his dismay, Gustaf Högström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bernt Siggman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Gustaf Högström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Mino kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Rickard Brodin's late challenge caught a Tierra del Fuego FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rickard Brodin helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Newcastle United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Brodin. Newcastle United F.C.'s Christoffer Dahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Domenec in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Poncio during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jesus Poncio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tierra del Fuego FC's Cristobal Iyan got control of the ball when Gustaf Högström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Newcastle United F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
