With a little luck, ADM Taquaras's Rubinho Abreu got control of the ball when Hilario Juvenal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiburcio Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Juvenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Hilario Juvenal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rubinho Abreu. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 27th match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. Benê Carioca took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Maore. Tiburcio Maore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Hilario Juvenal got a free kick in the 36th minute. Tiburcio Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Melchor Felo's late challenge caught a ADM Taquaras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Felo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Zé Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After 46 minutes, Duarte Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADM Taquaras and the Club Atletico Chusca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Duarte Senna got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The wind increased when Hilario Juvenal made the kick off in the second half. Tiburcio Maore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benê Carioca in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes Club Atletico Chusca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Madureira who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Benê Carioca got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-4. 53 minutes into the match. Rubinho Abreu came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Chusca's Hilario Juvenal. But to his dismay, Hilario Juvenal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. In the 67th minute, Benê Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Maore was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. 71 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Tiburcio Maore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benê Carioca. After 71 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Rozarius. 77 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Madureira came free, but Tiburcio Maore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Maore having to interfere. A collision led to ADM Taquaras getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ediberto Varela hit a great ball. Rubinho Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Juvenal in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, João Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ADM Taquaras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Chusca the free kick. In the 88th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. ADM Taquaras's Rubinho Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Juvenal in the 89th minute of play. Rubinho Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Juvenal in the 90th minute of the match.
