Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) 4 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Ciro Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Fontenot. Ciro Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolph Saunders, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Rudolph Saunders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ciro Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicky Cavazos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Cardozo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ciro Cardozo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rudolph Saunders showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Ciro Cardozo came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's Nicky Cavazos. But to his dismay, Nicky Cavazos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Brian Mendoza hit a great ball. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Desportivo Coala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Cosmos Soccer Club's Rudolph Saunders nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Patrick Fontenot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ciro Cardozo made a huge save. A collision led to Desportivo Coala getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Júlio Berger hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Cosmos Soccer Club's Nicky Cavazos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Saunders came free, but Ciro Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Urbano hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Nicky Cavazos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 61st minute, Nicky Cavazos made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Cardozo. Desportivo Coala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 64 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Saunders came free, but Ciro Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicky Cavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Velasco during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute of the match Federico Maia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciro Cardozo skillfully saved the ball. Nicky Cavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Robustiano Amor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosmos Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desportivo Coala the free kick. 76 minutes into the match, Patrick Fontenot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Cardozo. Desportivo Coala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Fontenot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When Donovan Heath fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos Soccer Club's protests and gave Donovan Heath a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donovan Heath to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Desportivo Coala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Nicky Cavazos sped through Desportivo Coala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciro Cardozo. After 87 minutes of play Cosmos Soccer Club's Donovan Heath was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rudolph Saunders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cláudio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Rosenberg having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cosmos Soccer Club fully deserved thier win.
