After 14 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Cyrus Crouch. If Tolek Pyrzyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Donovan Heath cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gwidon Iwanowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gwidon Iwanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Fontenot in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Westbam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Deput didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Smolarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyrus Crouch was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cosmos Soccer Club's Rudolph Saunders dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. When Rudolph Saunders came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Cosmos Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolph Saunders couldn't finish the play. Cyrus Crouch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Brian Mendoza. Gwidon Iwanowski made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Cyrus Crouch sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Westbam's Gwidon Iwanowski got control of the ball when Cyrus Crouch tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Pyrzyce came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Patrick Fontenot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Gwidon Iwanowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Pyrzyce, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute Rudolph Saunders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Iwanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donovan Heath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donovan Heath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwidon Iwanowski having to interfere. The Westbam manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Cosmos Soccer Club to win.
