Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Lucio Nardo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of La MaKina del Parque booed when Blomstermåla BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Botvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Regis came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Blomstermåla BK's Jörgen Bergfeldt. But to his dismay, Jörgen Bergfeldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Olov Hääger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes of play, Blomstermåla BK's Sakarias Melin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Regis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fritz Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Lucio Nardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Åke Johnsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Åke Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Caetano in the 43rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Lixandro during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Åke Johnsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
